INTIMATE DETAILS

A friend asked me the other day how far I had ever gotten with someone I had feelings for. It came as a surprise to her and it may come as a surprise to many of you that I have never been intimate with anyone I had feelings for. Fact is, I’ve never even kissed a girl I’ve had true feelings for. Not even the one who used to be the love of my life.

That very same friend asked me if I regretted not ever doing it and I told her that at the time, it wasn’t really what I was looking for. I was after the “heart” of the matter and I figured that the physical aspect would come later when I had totally won over the girl.

In retrospect, never really trying to become intimate could be a major reason I’m still single up to this day (yes, despite her admission that we had a relationship, I still consider myself SSB – Single Since Birth). The best I ever got with *** was holding hands, warm embraces and pecks on the cheek. Sure, in later years, I’ve been intimate with some girls (despite my complaints, it was also good to be a DJ) but that was it. It was just sex. I’m sure that if and when another girl comes along that captures my fancy, I’ll be happy enough just to hold her hand.

INXS: I’m very sure that this entry has something to do with my watching Sex and the City lately. This won’t be a reflection of how future entries will be like. I hope…

INXS 2: The good thing about being jobless is being able to watch the Amazing Race “live” over Studio 23. It’s hard to find a team to root for this time around but can I just say that I was extremely ecstatic when Sharla and Mirna (the midget and her bitchy cousin) were eliminated. I wish the father & daughter team of jim and Marsha were still in the running but in lieu of them, I’m rooting for Kami and Karli (the cute twins). They aren’t so bright, but they’re better than the remaining teams. I don’t like the Moms because of their association with Sharla and Mirna. I hate Colin and although I like Chip, he and Brandon and Nicole are just too vocal about pushing their Christian values despite some of the things they’ve done themselves.

SORRY FOR THE DELAY

Allow me to apologize for being away so long. I wish I could say that I've been away on an exciting adventure or that I've just been too busy to blog. I can't, simply because there's really nothing to say. Highlights of the month:
1. Had an interview three weeks ago. No decision yet.
2. Went around Makati distributing resumes. Hope for a call this week.
3. Learned that this girl I used to date is getting married. She wants me to host her wedding. To quote her fiancee: "Are you sure you want him to do it? Are you sure he'll say yes?"
4. Added Shreck 2, Ella Enchanted, Kill Bill 2 and Troy to my DVD collection.
5. Dreading turning 29.

Anyway, I hope to have something more to write in the coming weeks.
1. thank you Ryan, Joey and Rhochie for giving me the kick in the butt I need to get back to writing here.
2. Hi Phia!!! What's new with you. E-mail me naman ur contacts para we can catch up! I'm at jbounce@rocketmail.com
